Dale Earnhardt, Jr. drove his Chevy SS to victory lane last Sunday at Pocono, leading the last 14 laps to sweep both the stops at The Tricky Triangle. Jeff Gordon, who is on fire, led the most laps.
In a shocker, MMSH won the week. However, we did have a big crash which took out a lot of top drivers. It also may have knocked Tony Stewart out of the Chase, although he does run well at Richmond, where we are in a couple of weeks.
Hot Blooded CosmoD came in second, with Fitz Racing, Eagles Nest and that bat out of hell Team Taser, who continues to show the way in the overall points standings. Glynn remains second there, with KDog, Smoke's Fury and No Ones Beatch rounding out the top five.
Fitz was out big gainer, while Daily Habit slipped out of the groove.
We head up to the Finger Lakes region of New York this week to run the Cheez-It 355 at The Glen at Watkins Glen International Speedway. I don't know about you, but I have really come to enjoy these road course, particularly Bud at the Glen.
Qualifying, on Saturday morning, should be fun. On Sunday, we aim to put the field under green at approximately 1:19PM. Should be a lot of fun.
