Steve O had a huge week, winning the week after another round of love bug racing at Talladega Superspeedway. Captain Schwab, CF Canes 7, WTC Racing and S& T Racing rounded out the top five.
Steve O and Captain Schwab were the top advancers of the day, capitalizing on the third place finish by Dave Blaney. BAHL, MMSH, Speedway Princess and Cane Racing all crashed out.
Mama's Boy, with Big and Lil Boy following, are cruising towards the trophy stand. The Gas Man and SPC emerged this week as the top challengers, but I doubt they have enough time.
This week we are in Martinsville, perhaps the only track that remains home of some good racing. Fenders will be banging, and tempers are sure to flare.
The rag drops for Tums Fast Relief 500 at 1:43PM EST.

Week 31 Commentary
Ole Five Time, Jimmie Johnson, is usually a gold star bet at Charlotte Motor Speedway, but an unusual spin put him hard into the wall, damaging his Chase hopes for a sixth consecutive championship and putting a hurting on many racers in the Conway NASCAR League.
Matt Kenseth won the race, but CF Canes won the week, followed by URBANSGATORS, Lisa Las Vegas, Blue 7 Racing, SPC Racing and BAHL.
The drivers making big moves this week were few. BAHL, Blue 7 and Burke gained five while Chief Racing and Punch lost five.
Five is the word, and the top five remained he same, with Ford Motor Company's Boy Racing Inc coasting to the championship.
This week is the wildcard as we head to The White Knuckle Highway, Talladega Superspeedway. Moves have been made to thankfully ditch the Love Bug Racing experiment, so we really don't know what to expect until practice.
In addition, with Indy-Car racer Dan Wheldon's death at Las Veagas Motor Speedway, will the good ole boys exercise some caution. Well, not for a minute.
Green flag for the Good Sams Club 500 is at 2:19PM.
Stand on it and keep the shiny side up!

Wicked Wreck at Vegas Claims Dan Wheldon
Dan Whledon, a two time winner of the Indianapolis 500, including in 2011, has lost his life in a horrific 15 car crash at Las Vegas Motor Speedway this afternoon. ABC had the race coverage:
Ironically, Wheldon was a part time racer this year, and was essentially unemployed after winning the 2011 Indy 500. Wheldon spoke with CNBC's Darren Rovell days after the 500.
Wheldon was set to take over for Danica Patrick, who is heading over to NASCAR full time next season. This racing is very dangerous, and even though the safety measures advanced in the recent years, particularly in the aftermath of the death of the legendary Dale Earnhardt at Daytona International Speedway in 2001, it remains so. Five time NASCAR champ Jimmie Johnson took a very hard hit last night at Charlotte, a hit made easier to absorb by the safer barriers and HANS device innovations.
Thoughts and prayers will be with Wheldons family; may he rest in peace.

Week 29 Commentary
Kurt Busch took the checkered flag at Dover, as the chase points get real tight.
Team Taser won the week, with Little Circle Burner, Lisa Las Vegas, UrbansGators and Disc Golfer rounding out the top five.
Those gaining spot included UrbansGators, Lisa Las Vegas, Smoles Fury, Ricky Racer and Budah. Going a lap down were BAHL, Blue 7 and Fitz Racing.
Mama's Boy contiunes to show the way, and the list fo racres with a chance to overtake is dwindling fast. Big and Lil remain tucked in off the bumper, with The Big Lebowski and Pamela's Pistons in high speed pursuit.
This week we are out in Kansas at Kansas Speedway for the running of the Hollywood Casino 400. The track is located just west of metro KC in Kansas (most of Kansas City is in Missouri), and rain could be a factor.
Greg Biffle is and Clint Bowyer was fastest in Happy Hour practice.
Silly season is in full swing, as Bowyer announced a deal with Micheal Waltrip Racing. Drivers changes could heat up quick.
Good Luck

Week 28 Commentary
The Chase has begun, and that is winning time for Tony Stewart, who captured his second consecutive win at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
BAHL, having noted that he was one of only four CNL races had yet to score a top ten this season, took car of that in dominating fashion, winning the week by fifteen points. The Big Lebowski was second, followed by Glynn, Burke and O Racing.
The big gainers this week were BAHL, GBR88 and Glynn. In the garage with engine trouble were Fuller's Fast Track, Flat Tires Racing and Cane Racing.
Mama's Boy continues to hold a strong lead, with Big and Lil Boy tucked right in right off the back bumper. The Big Lebowski and Pamela' Pistons are running hard, but time is dwindling away.
This week we head back over to Dover for The AAA 400 at Dover International Speedway. It has been 21 years since Dick Trickle sat on the pole here, and 16 years since Kyle Petty brought his Coors Light Pontiac Grand Prix from 37th starting spot to win.
Martin Truex, Jr is our polestitter, and the green flag is scheduled to drop at 2:15PM. Stand on it!
