Racing 2015

Glad to see the majority of our racers have made their way over to our new format as we are thrilled to merge with the race league under the direction of Terry Johnson and Luckydog.

We are only hours before we put the field under green for the 57th running of the Great American Race.

For those who have not yet got signed up, please do so.

Hello and Happy Friday,

We still have a lot of lineups not turned in and I am still waiting on word if  I will be in Daytona on Sunday. Also a few of you have emailed and lmk that for whatever reason their password was not working and I had to re-send your invite. For these reasons please log in and check/put in  your lineup... but I am including the groupings in a follow up  email for teams that are having a hard
time so if for some reason you can't get it in  please send it to me and I will put it in for you  but please do this in a timely manner due to the fact I would  love to enjoy Sundays event no matter where I end up thanks again

P.S. if you are on the home page and look down the team list you will see either a red dot beside the team names and some will be green if it is green the team has put in at least one driver if it is red the team has put in no drivers

League Party

Conway NASCAR League

 

We have set the time and place for our 2014 Conway NASCAR League party. We will be gathering at The Wingshack on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 4PM to celebrate our past race season and learn about what is in store for 2015. Wingshack is located on the corner of Conway Road and Michigan Street in Orlando.

 

We will be shifting gears in 2015, shaking things up quite a bit for the new race season. Life has caught up with your stalwart commissioner, with expanded professional responsibilities and a lovely daughter about to become a high schooler, so I will be stepping aside from commissioner duties.

The Conway NASCAR League will continue, joining with another sister league that over a quarter of our 2014 league members raced in a year ago.

We will be changing sites from Racescore.com to FanStar.com.  This site has many features our racers have been calling for, most notably, live scoring!  In addition, you can put in your selections right up until the green flag!  Also, you can play segments only, or play all season; it is up to you.

The structure is slightly different with no end of year champion, just segment champions.  The boxes for each six race segment are the same as we have had for the last several seasons. 

Those in charge of this league have all been participants in The Conway NASCAR League, so these folks are familiar to most if not all of us. We plan to have live representation at our league party to answer any questions you may have, inclusive of a demonstration of the site.

We look forward to seeing our racing family in a couple of weeks and hope you will join us in the next phase for The Conway NASCAR League.
