Week 20 Commentary

Jeff Gordon won his fifth Brickyard 400 last Sunday.  While he did not lead the most laps, it was clear that the #24 Drive For Hunger Chevy SS was the dominant car.  Gordon looks like a real serious contender for the championship, which would be his fifth.

Team Taser won the week with a strong performance, gaining ground on his overall points lead.  Luckydog finished second, KDog was third and BMF Lugnuts, Pamela's Pistons and SPC Racing tied for fourth.

There was not a lot of big moves this week in the point standings.  Lisa Las Vegas gained five spots while AFLAC Chief Racing blew an engine dropping eight spots.

Team Taser remains on point, followed by Glynn.  No Ones Beatch is third, Smoke's Fury is fourth and KDog Racing holds fifth.

As we noted over on our Facebook page, Denny Hamlin got docked a bunch of points due to post race infractions from the Brickyard.

This week we return to Pocono, and rookie Kyle Larson is our polesitter.

The GoBowling.com 400 is expected to go green a 1:19PM Sunday.  The King, Richard Petty, will be your Grand Marshal.

Good Luck
