Week 26 Commentary

It was an exciting race at Richmond with Clint Bowyer grabbing the checkers in the Federated Auto Parts 400 and Jeff Gordon pulling off a miracle and grabbing a position in the Chase with a second place finish.

Blue 7 Racing and SPC Racing tied for the week winning honors, followed closely by  Team Hot Stuff, Luckydog and Pamela's Pistons.

There were few big movers this week, just some minor shuffling.  RP5 Racing fell five spots, and SPC and Luckydog gained five or more.

The Big Lebowski continues to run point, with  Big Boy, Lil Boy, hard charging Blue 7 Racing and Lucky Penny rounding out the top five.   Nine racers are within 100 points, but gains are tough to come by and time is running out.

We begin the Chase in Chicagoland, running the GEICO 400 at Chicagoland Speedway.  Jimmie Johnson is our polesitter.  Dale Earnhardt Jr. switched engines and will start in the back.

The green flag drops at 2:16 PM.  Stand on it!
