Crane Cams, makers of racing camshafts for dozens of years, has ceased operations and closed its doors nationally, including a plant on Fentress Boulevard, not far from Daytona International Speedway as Jim Witters of the Daytona Beach News Journal reports. Crane, founded in Hallandale, Florida in the 50's, was well known in racing circles.The destruction of bubbles bursting in nasty bear markets like the one we are experiencing now leave few stones unturned. Sad news.
