Jimmie Johnson won the AAA 500 at Texas, but nobody seemed to care as the action on pit road after the race made those folks at WWE jealous.
Jeff Gordon was torqued Brad Keselowski hit a hole and brushed the #24 Chevrolet which resulted in the left rear on Gordon's car going down. Gordon confronted Keselowski on pit road, and just as things appear to have settled down, Kevin Harvick showed up and shoved Keselowski in the back.
While Harvic ran away, fisticuffs between Gordon and Keselowski ensued. In an instant, crew members for Gordon, and Kasey Kahne, another overrated driver who spent the day wrecking his car, attacked Keselowski.
It ended with Keselowski and Gordon bloodied, while Johnson watched with enjoyment.
That sets the stage for a really wild day today at Phoenix International Raceway.
Eagles Nest won the week, followed by ME Racing, WTC Racing, MMSH and 88AMPs.
It was a tight day on the scoring grid, with only two racers going 3 spots either way. FLYNC5 went up 3, while Fitz Racing went down three.
The top five in the standings remained the same, and Glynn looks about a lock for another championship.
No positions in the final Chase event in Homestead have been set. It promises to be a wild day at Phoenix International Raceway as we run Quicken Loans Race For Heroes 500. They aim to put the field under green at approximately 3:16PM
Should be fun!
