Week 32 Commentary

Several prominent drivers needed a win to advance to the eliminator round of the Chase, but only one was able to pull it off, and it has been the driver who has arguably had the best overall season with the most wins; Brad Keselowski.

Brad charged to the front at Talladega and held on to advance, but Jimmie Johnson and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. were eliminated.  So was Kyle Busch, who although riding around in the back, got caught up in a wreck and his day was essentially done.

There was not the usual 20 car pileup that most expected.

Miss Make Shit Happen (MMSH) won the week handily rolling here picks.  Imagine that.  Team Hot Stuff was second, SPC Racing third, with Glynn and ME Racing tying for fourth.

Glynn remains on point, and has opened up a once razor thin margin to 119 points over Team Taser.  Taser has gone on major runs before, and he may just have one more in him in 2014.  We will see.
The rest of the top five has not shifted in recent weeks, but we expect someone to make a move, discarding the bosom of safety.

SPC Racing, Team Hot Stuff and MMSH made moves toward the front, while Cosmo D and WTC found themselves in the garage area.

This week we head to the paper clip known as Martinsville Speedway for the running of the Goody's Headache Relief Shot 500.  This is short track racing at it's finest.

Few races are remaining, and those with any inkling to get toward the front must act now.

We will place the field under green at approximately 1:43PM.

Steady as she goes, and protect the brakes.
