In was an exciting race at New Hampshire International Speedway, Joey Logano won the Sylvnia 300 to clinch spot in the next round of the Chase. Logano joins Penske teammate Brad Keselowski as the first to secure a spot in the second round.
In the Conway NASCAR League, Blind Squirrel Racing won the week, followed closely by Punch, BAHL, Team Wolf and MMSH. A rather odd top five to be sure.
Team Taser passed Glynn for the lead as they continue to swap spots. Glynn is only 2 points behind, so this fight will go on and is exciting to watch. Both of these teams are really getting it done.
KDog Racing it third, followed by Smoke's Fury and No Ones Beatch.
Unlike last week, there were some significant moves in the standings.
Moving up were Blue 7 Racing, FLYNC5, who is moving on the top ten, Team Wolf and Blind Squirrel Racing. Dropping down with a flat tire were Big Boy and Lil Boy, who are having an uncharacteristically bad season, Pamela's Pistons and Little Circle Burner, whose late decision to go with Denny Hamlin was costly.
This week we head over to Dover Downs to run the AAA 400 at Dover International Speedway. Jimmie Johnson has not been running as good of late as he has n past seasons, but he owns this place and it will be interesting to see if finds some speed and can challenge for the win Sunday.
We put the field under green at approximately 2:15PM.
The time to hammer down is now.
