Kasey Kahne, who it would seem might be a casualty of silly season due to poor performance, scored a huge win at Atlanta Motor Speedway Sunday night, securing himself a spot in the Chase.
It was a hot night at Atlanta, and tempers flared. Kyle Busch seemed to be the main culprit, upsetting both Kevin Harvick and Martin Truex Jr.
Tony Stewart returned to action and ran well, but blew a tire, which forced him to retire from the event.
Eagles Nest won the week, with Blind Squirrel second and FLYNC5 third. Pamela's Pistons, Boris Head Racing and Blue 7 Racing tied for fourth. Only Blind Squirrel Racing moved more four of more spots, gaining on the field.
The top five stayed the same. Glynn continues to run point, with Team Taser, Smoke Fury, No Ones Beatch and KDog Racing rounding out the top five.
It is the final race to make the Chase this weekend, as we hit Richmond International Raceway for the Federated Auto Parts 400. Stewart, who recorded his firs win at Richmond, will need to win it to make the Chase.
They will aim to place the field under green at approximately 7:46AM on Saturday night.
Good Luck
