In what can only be considered a wild evening, Kevin Harvick brought home the checkered flag at Charlotte Motor Speedway winning the Coca Cola 600.
The event was red flagged for a very odd reason; a FOX television camera cable snapped an fell to the track, disturbing many cars and even injuring some fans.
Kyle Busch seemed to get the worst of the ordeal, along with Marcose Ambrose.
Smoke's Fury won the week, followed by D&D Racing, WTC Racing, The Blue Deuce and Steve O Racing.
Among those who gained big were Steve O Racing, Budah, Pup N Suds, D&D Racing, Big Boy and WTC Racing. Losing grip up in the corner were Fitzx Racing, Team Wolf, SWL Racing and CosmoD, whose light never fired in reference to the loss of The Doors keyboard player last week.
Glynn continues to lead Man In Black Racing, followed by Smoke's Fury, 88 AMPS and BMF Lugnuts.
Smoke's Fury won the segment, with D&D Racing in second and WTC Racing in third.
We attempted to have a race party for the 600 at Belle Isle Bayou, but due to private parties and beachgoers, we had to scale it back. We had a few join us seeking air conditioning, good food and some cold beer, so all was not lost. Thanks to Andre for hosting us, and w will try again sometime.
PLEASE NOTE THE BOXES HAVE CHANGED as we enter segment three.
We are off to Dover this weekend for the FedEx / Autism Speaks 400 as Dover International Speedway. This is the last race for FOX, with the green flag waving at approximately 1:16PM. Make your picks early so you do not get locked out.
Good Luck to all!
