Week 11 Commentary

Matt Kenseth, even after being checked by NASCAR, continues to torch the circuit, grabbing his third win this year at Darlington, a track not historically kind to Kenseth.

Kyle Busch and Kasey Kahne got collected again, and tempers could start to rise between these two.

Glynn won the week yet again, and continues to run point in the standings and may be on his way to another championship. However, several other racers tied Glynn, including BMF Lugnuts, Team Taser, The Big Lebowski, Stroker Ace, Double Four Racing and Kingpin Racing.  Three additional racers finished one point behind.

It was a condensed leader board, as Team Taser was the only racer to gain over five spots.

Blue Deuce, BAHL and Team Hot Stuff lost over five spots, but Ron Dog Racing and 4D Racing lost over 10 spots.

Out front behind our championship point leader Glynn, remains Man In Black and 88 AMPs.  BMF Lugnuts jumped Team Cuda as they run fourth and fifth.

The All Star Race at Charlotte is this Saturday night at Charlotte Motor Speedway.  This is a NON POINTS race, and will not count in our standings, so enjoy the night.

The Conway NASCAR League will pick things up again on Sunday night May 26 as we run The Coca Cola 600. The green flag is scheduled to drop a 6:16PM, so make sure your picks are in.

Stay tuned to our Facebook page, the blog and the Racescore message board for any changes or updates that may arise.  Speaking of the Facebook page, this page may be followed by folks who are not members of our league.  It is a great place for NASCAR and racing related stories. Blind Squirrel Racing is having a great time over there, which is cool.

Have a great Memorial Day Weekend, and please keep in mind the reason for the holiday, which is a chance to give remembrance to those lost Veterans who helped pave our way to the freedoms we so cherish.  May God Bless them all!

See ya at Charlotte!
