The Chase for the Championship kicked off in Loudon, New Hampshire as we ran the Sylvania 300 with Mark Martin taking the checkered flag. Could Martin get his first championship after all these years?
Jimbo led the league this week with the high score, closely followed by Lil Boy^^, Big Boy^, S&T Racing and Burke Hammond Racing. I do see a pack of Fords moving to the front.
Speaking of moving to the front, The Gas Man jumped four spots in the overall standings to grab third position behind our leader, Team Taser and WTF Racing. Ricky Racer and BMF Lugnuts round out our top five.
Among the other racers moving up this week were the aforementioned high scorers along with The Lug Nuts. Losing spots this week were No Ones Beatch, Crank McTanken, NJ Motorsports, Lisa Las Vegas, Diamond Dave and AFC Patriots, who dropped double digits no doubt taking some extra chances to get to the front.
The chase continues this week at the Monster Mile in Dover, Delaware for the running of the AAA 400 at Dover International Raceway. I think Dover is a fun track, and with that in mind we should have some good racing.
The green flag is scheduled to drop at 2:16PM. Time is running out for our drivers to make the necessary moves to get in the top ten for the finish. Stand On It!
