The good ole boys took in some Saturday night short track racing at Richmond, and Kyle Busch held off Tony Stewart to grab yet another win. Meanwhile, it was WTF Racing, responding from spending most of last weeks race in the garage area, taking the checkers in the Conway NASCAR League.
WTF was followed closely by Brian Racing*, Big Boy^ (I thought I saw him singing the National Anthem at the Richmond Nationwide race), Budah and WHS Racing. A closer look at the race results finds Fraser Sells Orlando, Budah and Blood or Tears Racing with solid top tens, which is extremely rare.
Tippy Twister, BDawg Racing and Turn4Gator brought up the rear due to mechanical failure.
Behind a disappointing 71st place finish last week, The Blue Deuce was able to hold on to the league lead. WTF, Chevy Intimidators, Blood or Tears, Budah, O Racing, Big Boy^, No Ones Beatch, Brian Racing and WHS Racing gained the most positions this week.
Tippy Twister led the way down tumbling 24 spots. Offshore Gamester, Blind Squirrel Racing, BC and Ed Racing also lost major ground.
We run Darlington on Saturday night. Darlington is the old lady of tracks and is most entertaining. The green flag is set to drop at 7:35PM. Matt Kenseth tops the lineup while Jeff Gordon was fastest in practice.
