Week 7 Commentary

Kyle Bucsh won in dominating fashion all weekend at Texas, collecting the Nationwide Series race and The NRA 500 at Texas Motor Speedway.  It was our first Saturday night race of the season, with Sara Evans singing The National Anthem.

Eagles Nest won the week, followed by 88 AMPS, Budah, No Ones Beatch, CF Canes and The Blue Deuce.

Moving up this week were Eagles Nest, The Blue Deuce and Budah, while Mountain Boy, 4D Racing, Slim Shady Racing and Chief Racing were in the garage area.

The boxes changed, but we still had a few characters that forgot to make adjustments.  We warned everyone we could on all our outlets, but as TShea (Blind Squirrel Racing) appropriately noted, approximately 10% of the folks will roll their picks no matter.

Please join us over on our Facebook page as we are having some fun over there.

As we noted on Facebook, the Penske Racing teams got hammered by NASCAR for penalties found in pre-race inspection at Texas.

In the aftermath of the despicable tragedy in Boston, several NASCAR teams, including Michael Waltrip Racing and Roush Fenway Racing, will show support for Boston.  Certainly, we want to keep those affected in Boston and out in central Texas in our prayers. It has been a very tough week indeed.

This week we head out to Kansas Speedway, about 20 minutes west of greater Kansas City just north of I-70 in Kansas, opposite of the Harry S. Truman Sports Complex which houses Kauffman Stadium (KC Royals) and Arrowhead Stadium (KC Chiefs) just south of I-70 in Missouri.

The STP 400 goes green at 1:16PM Sunday afternoon.  Elliott Sadler win return to the cup series running the #81 Toyota Camry for Joe Gibbs Racing.  Glad to see Sadler back.

Stand on it!
