Week 32 Commentary

The Hollywood Casino in 400, on the newly paved Kansas Speedway, proved to be a menace for many as many drivers had issues with the outside retaining wall.  Matt Kenseth took the checkered flag.

RP5 won the week in the Conway NASCAR League, followed by Team Taser, Buke, Punch and Ricky Racer.  Other than Team Taser, this collection of contestants have not typically been among our top weekly finishers this year, and it is nice to see them having a good run.

Team Taser jumped six spots and is charging hard, but time may be against him.  Ricky Racer, Burke and Little Circle Burner also jumped several spots.  Fullers Fast Track, Man In Black Racing and Chevys Intimidators fell four or more.

With the way the boxes are configured, which as we have mentioned will be adjusted for 2013, it makes it tough to catch racers ahead of you.  The Big Lebowski, who has been leading for about 20 races now, holds a 28 point lead over Big Boy and Little Boy.  There is little time left for those in high speed pursuit, and it already may require some help in the form of a chosen driver having engine failure, etc.

This afternoon we run the Tums Fast Relief 500 Sprint Cup Series race at Martinsville Speedway. The green flag is scheduled for 2PM.  Although Hurricane Sandy is bearing down on the northeast, it should be coll and clear at race time.

Good Luck!
