Dale Earnhardt Jr broke his winless streak at Michigan International Speedway to the delight of many. He has been running strong all year, so he was bound to win.
Fuller's Fast Track took the checkers, with Smoke's Fury, Steve O, Team BC and Lucky Penny rounding out the top 5.
Among those with strong runs were Team Taser, Lucky Penny, Fullers Fast Track, Little Circle Burner and SPC Racing. The Gas Man, Burke and Hog Smoke Racing each has miserable runs.
The Big Lebowski is out front, closely chased by Lisa Las Vegas. Cane Racing, Pamela's Pistons and North 79 Liquor make the top five.
We are road racing this weekend out in Sonoma, which means we will have some ringers in the field.
Marcose Ambrose is on the pole, and Robby Gordon is back. Jeff Gordon was fastest in happy hour practice.
For the first time in many a moon, qualifying was not shown live on TV, which I found disturbing. They aim to put them under green at 3:18PM.
