Car and Driver is reporting the President Obama has directed that General Motors and Chrysler cease participation in NASCAR after the 2009 season due to financial woes at the now government sponsored companies.Well, it is April Fools, so at least for now, this is a joke. The idiocy in Washington, however unfortunate, is not.
